What is staging anyway?
As I mentioned above, staging isn’t just about furniture and decor, although both of them play a very important role in the overall staging design plan. Staging a home is a marketing tool that, with the help of the correct furniture and decor, will emphasize the greatest features of your home and minimize the “not so great” features.
Take a look at this picture. What is the first thing that you notice? The high ceilings, right? The artwork above the fireplace and the narrow molding on the walls, along with the dark paint, help accentuate the height. This is one way that staging a room the right way can draw your eye to the best features of your home, which are the high ceilings!
How much does staging cost?
It is sometimes hard to answer this question for a client, as every house has different requirements and staging needs. Property styling in a home that you are currently living in will cost less money than staging a vacant home. Styling a luxury home will still be more expensive.
