I have always been interested in what makes up a person and how they tick. Including myself. What makes up “me”. Who am I? Why am I here?
Understanding our strengths and weaknesses can help with both our personal growth, our personal relationships, and our professional relationships.
So, I knew there were elements within me that I didn’t like and I wanted to learn more about how I could be aware of them and how to turn a negative into a positive.

I found this website one day, and I thought, What the heck? Let’s give it a try. I’m glad I did. I had to answer a lot of questions, and I was honest with my answers.(If I wasn’t honest, why bother)
It turns out that I have an ESTJ personality. (ESTJ stands for Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging). It is one of the 16 personality types identified by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
Ok. Extraverted? Hmmm…not usually. Sensing? 100%, Thinking? Always, Judging? Unfortunately, yes.
Now what? So, I delved into the results a bit deeper, and signed up for regular emails with The Psychology Junkie. I read every one of them, because the more that I read about ESTJ personalities, the more I identify with myself. It teaches you what to look for in yourself, and be aware of times when you tend to act a certain way.
It’s been a game changer for me! Some may think its a hoax. It doesn’t matter. It works for me. I am not endorsing any of the links in this blog. I am just simply sharing them, in case you are interested in learning more about yourself.
